So Far....

Since I've been tracking my food, activity and how I feel I realize I feel pretty bad quite often. This month seems to be worse. My Hubby thinks I may have a virus or some sort of infection. I did do something pretty stupid on our houseboat trip a month ago. I'd never been on a houseboat before and only heard we should conserve the fresh water. Well, I brushed my teeth, took a big drink, realized the water did have a bit of a bite. I then noticed there was a hot and cold faucet and a faucet off to the side that looks like one you see in kitchens where the water is run through a filter. This was a big family outing and we had actually rented two boats. I checked out the bathrooms in the other boat and the faucets were marked and Ugh, I had swallowed a whole lotta lake water (shudder!). The next day I got VERY sick. I thought it was either the water or motion sickness combined with the smell of boat, jetski, skiboat exhaust. Since then I just have not felt well. I think that combined with Hypothyroidism is making it hard for me right now. I did lose two pounds since last week, so that is good.

So Far so Good...

Well, I've been using FitDay for a few days now and really like the information it provides. It will be very handy in talking to my doctor about specifics instead of generally. I also find that I actually just don't feel well more than I'd admit or complain about and I complain quite a bit in my mind.

Next I have to work on exercise. I'm going to start with walking just to get going and then I'm thinking of joining a gym. Argh! Another way to spend money! But money well spent, so I should figure it into the budget.

I purchased FitDay and started using it. I've used the online version before and really like it. I Mainly want to use it because I have just started medication for hypothyroidism a few weeks ago. I haven't been on a specific diet but don't think I should be GAINING weight. ARGH!!! So as proof to myself and my doctor I wanted to write down and track everything I'm eating. So if something is totally amiss I want to know. My goal this week is to walk 4 times for 20 to 30 minutes as well as track everything I eat and do. The online version of FitDay can be found here.
